She has the power to make you sway, but apparently Jennifer Lopez’s famous derrière has the power to disturb public order too!
On May 29, 2015, Lopez performed at the Mawazine World Rhythms International Music Festival in Rabat, Morocco. The pop singer wore a bodysuit, bejewelled fishnet tights and stiletto boots for the show, which was broadcast on TV to a whooping two million viewers.

In response to this sizzling performance, an education group has hit Jenny-on-the-block with a lawsuit claiming “she dressed scantily, disturbed public order and tarnished women’s honor and respect.”
Morocco’s Minister of Communication Mustapha Khalfi called it “unacceptable and goes against broadcasting law.” And now the BBC network has confirmed that Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane is also demanding an investigation into the broadcast against the 45-year-old artist’s butt-shaking concert and threatening more legal action. He described her performance as ‘sexually suggestive’ and a ‘serious delinquency’, featuring ‘disgraceful scenes’ that violated the nation’s broadcast law. He also criticised the TV channel for airing Lopez’s performance.
